Different Types of Energy
Potential:
the energy possessed by a body by virtue of its position relative to others, stresses within itself, electric charge, and other factors.
Friction:
>>Friction is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and material elements sliding against each other
Gravity:
the force that attracts a body towards the centre of the earth, or towards any other physical body having mass.
Kinetic:
energy which a body possesses by virtue of being in motion.
